About Mazatlán Airport

The General Rafael Buelna International Airport, also known as Mazatlán International Airport (IATA: MZT, ICAO: MMMZ), serves the coastal resort city of Mazatlán, Mexico. It is one of the main airports on the Mexican Pacific and sits about 15 km southeast of Mazatlán's historic downtown, near Playa La Piedra.

The airport officially opened on November 21, 1931. Since then, the terminal has undergone several renovations to keep pace with aviation safety standards and the quality of the services offered to travelers.

Today, Mazatlán Airport offers all the services and amenities you would expect from a modern terminal, connecting southern Sinaloa with major cities across Mexico and the United States.
